Range Rules
- Archers must follow all the range rules
- Inspect all equipment before use
- All archers must obey the buzzer and know the signal of buzzer
- Buzzer Signal:
2 Buzzers (RED) – Get your bow & stand on shooting line *Do NOT touch any arrows*
1 Buzzer (GREEN) – Load arrow on shooting line
3 Buzzers (GREY) - Clear to collect your arrows
- The only time you are permitted to become armed (put an arrow on the string) is when 1 Buzzer has been sounded and you are on the shooting line
- If you drop an arrow just leave it
- Pay attention to where other archers stand at the line. You should not be behind them if you plan to shoot, and NEVER in front of them
- The only time you are permitted to go forward of the shooting line is when 3 Buzzers has been sounded. Proceed directly to retrieve you arrows, make sure to pick up any arrows on ground first
- Always walk in the range - Running is NOT allowed in range
- Be safe, positive and respectful at all times
- No horseplay on the range
- Indoor runners or workout shoes recommended in range
- No high heels, cleats or open toes shoes allowed in range
- Shoot only at approved targets at approved distances
- No food allowed, water only
- No use of cellphone or electronics on shooting line
- Every customer must sign a waiver form, before they are allowed to do any archery activities in range
- Participants under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian
- Please show up on time (We recommended everyone to arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to the start of the session)
- Gum Ying Studio Staff reserve the right to ask anyone to leave for safety reasons - No refund will be issued
Equipment
- Recurve & Long bows (45 lbs & under)
- Compound bows (65 lbs & under)
- Target points arrows only
- Aluminum or Carbons arrows
- No crossbows allowed on range
- No arrows with broadheads on range
- No wooden arrows allowed on range
- Compound bow archers must shoot at 18M distance
- Archers with their own archery equipment can choose to shoot at up to 18M distance
- Archers with rental equipment can only shoot at maximum distance of 14M
Booking & Requirements
- We only accept online bookings at the moment, No walk-ins
- Open Shoot Sessions are for Members Only
- Beginners are required to take the Introductory Lesson before they can attend any Open Shoot Sessions
- Youth Camps, JOP Program, Archery Party, After School Program & Open Shoot Sessions (Members only) - Ages 8 & up
- Intro Archery Class & Beginner Workshop - Ages 12 & up
- Family Archery Session - Ages 8 & up
Certification
- Experience archers can get certify and shoot at our range
- Archers must have their own equipment to get certify
